Hello peeps, been very long time since I blogged anything. I have been dealing with my mental breakdown to be honest. Slow and steadily recovering myself. Enough bout that, to start blogging again I am thinking of sharing this place I been to last year at Penang. Yass, I went to Penang last year; May 2018 with my travel buddy. I have been searching and eager to go to this place at Penang specifically and finally get the chances.
Its.... TEDDYVILLE MUSEUM! I love teddy bear so much!!! From Pooh to Tatty to We Bare Bear!!!
We stayed at Georgetown and it takes us 25 minutes to reach there by Grab which cost me RM17 because we went there during peak hour 😂😂😂 around 8-9am. To ease you its better to put location at DoubleTree Hilton Penang (on the Grab App) because actually this museum is part of the hotel just ask the front office of the hotel/security. The Grab nearly drop us at junction before the hotel luckily he didnt because not many know about this museum too. We also nearly get out of the car coz we saw the banner but actually its the other junction which you need to walk further...the hotel junction.
There will be entrance fee which you can view on their website. The fee is worth for teddy lover and for someone who want to know Penang culture as there is section for teddy history followed by teddy display in a way that show Penang culture which you can view the photo we taken below. Of course a great place to take photo too!!
You should read what is display near each teddy because it consist of where the best place to eat too!!! dont just take photo and not read what they display there for you!!
Other than that theres gift shop too from teddy tshirt to keychain to magnet...we get ourself magnets and postcards which show Penang culture but with Teddy image!! I wish I bring more money with me that time haha!! Definitely recommended this place!
To add, the staff there are very friendly and will offer to take picture of you and your friends/family!!! But we choose to be on our own. Shy shy bah.
I wish Sabah have this too! Or maybe I can create place like this in future haha! At KK we have teddy cafe where I visit once and lovin their food which located at Lido Plaza.
